Budget 101 - What is a budget?

December 13, 2007

Ever tried buying something and regret at the end of the day? It happens to most of the mothers and breadwinners of the all the time. These people are the budget-makers in the house and since they are into budget, they can’t find ways to spend something for themselves because they will have to think of more important things rather than buying themselves a pretty coat for winter, a new dress for a cocktail party, or even spending a day at the spa for relaxation. But isn’t it nice to give ourselves a break and spend something to reward our efforts of a hard days work.

The web’s definitions of the word budget is; “A financial plan for saving and spending money.” Or “a sum of money allocated for a particular purpose.” Sound like an annoying manager discussing the events of the day to me. The most difficult there is to budget is definitely the food and the house. Oh, and don’t forget about the bills. Never disregard credits as well. And most importantly, a monthly pamper for you to relax and refresh the body and bring back the energy loss for another countless days and nights of work and overtimes on the office.
