The importance of a budget on the run could just be inside and around your wallet. Some people find this amazing that hacking your wallet can actually help you perk your finances and motivate you in attaining your financial aims.
Here are the 6 wallet hacks that’ll serve it very purpose… saving for the better.
- Junk your other credit cards
Having a lot of options of multiply credit cards can temp you to spend more than you need to spend and before you know it, you’re actually in depth. So hide your other credits cards, and leave just 2 at the most and you’ll be surprised how you this delusion of having lesser options other credit cards will hinder you from spending.
- Wrap you goals around the credit that you have in your wallet
It could be the car that you want, or the dream house you aspire for, whatever it is, wrap it around your credit card like a your credit card’s own personal pocket in your wallet. So every time you try to pull it out when about to purchase something trivial, you’ll actually be reminded that availing of such trivial product will just hamper you in attaining that dream.
- Use your wallet for password storage
This may not seem like such a perfect idea for some but it has been approved by proper authority that it is safe. So instead of memorizing all of your ATM passwords, just remember one, and store the other passwords in a small piece of paper then hide it in the very corner of your wallet for safe keeping. Don’t determine or write there what ATM cards the password is for.
- Unite Reward Cards
There’s a thing called JustOneClubCard.com where you can merge all cards into just one card that can actually cater 8 programs. This will help you accumulate points in getting free stuff. So don’t just bulge your wallet with credit cards and just bring this one. Of course these are for those who really are in this for the rewards and could actually handle it but if not, just stick to the “just having one or two credit cards”
- Clean your wallet for once a week or every month
Cleaning your wallet can actually make you aware of how much you are spending because of the piled up receipts and after some time your wallet’s bulked up with lots and lots of paper, not cash but paper. Wouldn’t you like it better if there were more cash than paper in your wallet ? It’s such a good realization.
- Don’t buy a cheap wallet
Buying a cheap wallet will get you into the habit of replacing it every year. When you buy yourself a wallet with good quality in a reasonable price, that wallet will actually last you for 3 years of more. Adding the cost that you make for buying cheap wallets and having to replace it every year would show that you tend to save more but just buying one that’s good in quality.
